Die Klinik versorgt Patienten, die von den niedergelassenen Fachkollegen zur Mit- oder Weiterbehandlung anvertraut wurden. Je nach Art der Erkrankung erfolgt die Behandlung ambulant, tagesklinisch/ teilstationär oder stationär. Die Klinik ist Hauttumorzentrum als 5. Organzentrum des Onkologischen Zentrums, ERN (European Reference Network Center) für seltene Hauterkrankungen (Ichthyosen, DNA-Reparaturdefektsyndrome), Gründungsmitglied des Zentrums für seltene Erkrankungen, Gründungsmitglied des Allergologischen Zentrums, Gründungsmitglied des Gefäßzentrums und hat ein Immuntherapiezentrum für entzündliche Hauterkrankungen von Erwachsenen und Kindern/Jugendlichen (Psoriasis, Neurodermitis) eingerichtet.
