Das ZSPE-Mainz bietet eine spezialisierte Versorgung für Kinder und Jugendliche mit seltenen Tumoren, therapierefraktären Erkrankungen und genetischen Tumorprädispositionen, für die häufig keine standardisierten Therapieansätze existieren. Darüber hinaus betreut das Zentrum auch seltene hämatologische, hämostaseologische und immunologische Erkrankungen.
Als universitäres Zentrum bieten wir personalisierte pädiatrische Medizin mit einem breiten Spektrum an diagnostischen, therapeutischen und wissenschaftlichen Möglichkeiten direkt vor Ort. Die pädiatrische Sprechstunde für seltene Erkrankungen ist in das Kinderonkologische Zentrum der Universität Mainz integriert.
Um eine optimale Versorgung sicherzustellen, entwickeln wir für diese seltenen pädiatrischen Erkrankungen personalisierte Behandlungsansätze, die auf interdisziplinärer Zusammenarbeit und modernen Therapien basieren. Darüber hinaus bietet das Zentrum individuell abgestimmte Vor- und Nachsorgeprogramme, um den betroffenen Patientinnen und Patienten sowie ihren Familien eine umfassende Betreuung und langfristige Unterstützung zu gewährleisten.
