Description
Die Klinik für angeborene Herzfehler und Pädiatrische Kardiologie behandelt in der Ambulanz und im stationären Bereich jährlich mehr als 4.000 Kinder, Jugendliche und junge Erwachsene mit angeborenen Herzfehlern. Jeder Patient bekommt eine Therapie zu bieten, die auf sein Krankheitsbild zugeschnitten ist und die die Möglichkeiten der Medizin und Erkenntnisse der Wissenschaft ausschöpft. Gleichzeitig werden für die Patienten und deren Eltern ein persönliches, offenes Umfeld geschaffen, das den Genesungsprozess unterstützt. Intensive Beratungsgespräche gehören ebenso dazu, wie die Mitaufnahme eines Elternteils bei kleineren Kindern, die stationär betreut werden, oder die Unterkunft im benachbarten Elternhaus.
