Description

Die III. Medizinische Klinik - Hämatologie und Internistische Onkologie behandelt Patienten mit dem gesamten Spektrum der Blutkrankheiten und bösartigen Tumorerkrankungen. In den letzten Jahren haben sich die Möglichkeiten, Patienten mit bösartigen Erkrankungen zu behandeln, sehr verbessert. Einige Krebserkrankungen, die noch vor 15 Jahren in jedem Fall tödlich verliefen, sind heute heilbar. In dieser Einrichtung stehen den Patienten etwa 50 akademische Mitarbeiter (davon 40 Ärzte) sowie eine große Anzahl von motivierten Pflegekräften und medizinisch-technischen Mitarbeitern zur Verfügung, die sich um das wichtigste, was es für die Klinik gibt – das Wohl des Patienten – bemühen.
